- Cream together butter and sugar. Add in egg, flour, vanilla and salt.Drop by the teaspoonful onto a well buttered cookie sheet. Flatten cookies using a spatula dipped into cold water. Press sesame seeds generously into the top of cookies before baking.
- Bake in a preheated 350°F degree oven till edges are golden brown.
- Remove from oven and cool immediately on wire racks.
- Makes 2 - 2 1/2 dozen.
