Receta Baked Pork Ribs With Hoisin Barbecue Sauce

Ingredientes
- 4 lb baby back pork ribs
- 1 tsp Chinese five-spice pwdr
- 1 tsp onion pwdr
- 1 c. hoisin sauce
- 1/2 c. bottled chili sauce
- 1/4 c. Sherry
- 4 tsp chili-garlic sauce
- 1 Tbsp. chopped peeled fresh ginger
- 1 Tbsp. oriental sesame oil
Direcciones
- Place ribs in large roasting pan. Pierce meat with fork. Sprinkle with Chinese five-spice pwdr and onion pwdr; rub mix into meat.
- Whisk remaining ingredients in small bowl to blend. Pour sauce over ribs, turning to coat. Turn ribs meat-side down; cover pan with aluminum foil and chill overnight.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake ribs, covered, till just tender, about 30 min. Uncover and turn ribs meat-side up; bake till ribs are cooked through, basting occasionally, about 35 min. Cut meat between bones to separate ribs and serve.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
- Comments: If you prefer to grill the ribs - that will intensify the hoisin flavor - remove them from the marinade (don't bake) and grill them over medium heat till tender and lightly charred, turning often and basting occasionally with marinade, about 25 min. Look for chili-garlic sauce in the Asian foods section of supermarkets.
