Receta Banana And Apple Chutney

Ingredientes
- 1 kg apples, Granny Smith
- 500 gm onions, medium
- 2 clv garlic, crushed
- 2 1/2 c. vinegar, white
- 1 1/2 c. saltanas
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp mixed spice
- 2 tsp grnd ginger
- 1 tsp tumeric
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seeds
- 1 1/2 kg bananas
Direcciones
- Peel core and slice apples.
- Chop the onions.
- Put all ingredients except the bananas into a large heavy based saucepan. Bring to the boil, lower heat, simmer gently for 20 min or possibly till apples have softened.
- Peel and slice the bananas, add in them to the mix and cook for about 20 min, stirring every now and then, till the mix is thick. Spoon into jars while hot, cover.
- Use underipe bananas.
- Serve as a condiment with curries.
