.%20%20Poor%20guy%20was%20in%20serious%20pain.%20%20The%20scary%20part?%20%20He%20was%20scheduled%20to%20leave%20for%20a%20work%20trip%20to%20China%20just%20a%20few%20days%20later.%20%20So%20he%20had%20to%20take%20it%20VERY%20easy%20and%20finally%20started%20feeling%20better%20the%20morning%20he%20left.%20%20Phew!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20would%20love%20to%20hear%20your%20new%20year%20resolutions!%20%20Would%20you%20like%20to%20hear%20mine?%20%20I%20want%20to%20blog%20less.%20%20WHAT!?%20%20Did%20I%20just%20type%20that%20out%20loud?%20%20Why,%20yes,%20I%20did.%20%20This%20year,%20I%E2%80%99m%20pledging%20to%20focus%20more%20on%20my%20family%20and%20spend%20less%20time%20on%20my%20computer.%20%20In%20order%20to%20do%20that,%20I%E2%80%99m%20stepping%20back%20from%20blogging.%20%20This%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20mean%20I%E2%80%99m%20stopping.%20%20I%20still%20want%20to%20post%20at%20least%20once%20a%20week.%20%20The%20main%20change%20will%20be%20how%20much%20time%20I%20spend%20on%20all%20of%20the%20tasks%20that%20go%20with%20being%20a%20full-time%20blogger.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJudah%20starts%20kindergarten%20in%20the%20fall,%20and%20I%20want%20to%20spend%20as%20much%20time%20with%20him%20as%20I%20can%20until%20that%20happens.%20%20I%20want%20our%20moments%20together%20to%20be%20fun%20and%20fulfilling,%20without%20the%20worry%20of%20finding%20time%20in%20the%20every%20single%20day%20to%20work%20on%20this%20blog%20and%20trying%20to%20promote%20it.%20%20I%E2%80%99ve%20already%20tested%20this%20out%20in%20the%20last%20couple%20of%20weeks,%20and%20when%20I%20do%20not%20have%20deadlines%20on%20my%20mind,%20I%E2%80%99m%20enjoying%20my%20kids%20so%20much%20more.%20%20No%20longer%20am%20I%20constantly%20trying%20to%20think%20of%20new%20content%20to%20write%20about,%20and%20instead%20everything%20I%20do%20is%20purely%20for%20the%20enjoyment%20of%20my%20family.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow,%20here%E2%80%99s%20a%20favorite%20banana%20bread%20recipe%20of%20mine.%20%20Not%20much%20to%20say%20about%20it%20except%20it%E2%80%99s%20awesome%20with%20the%20streusel%20topping,%20so%20don%E2%80%99t%20leave%20it%20out!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBanana%20Bread%20with%20Walnut%20Streusel%20Topping%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOne%20of%20our%20favorite%20banana-nut%20breads%20with%20a%20sweet%20and%20nutty%20streusel%20topping.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees%20F.%20Lightly%20grease%20a%209x5x3-inch%20loaf%20pan;%20set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20large%20mixing%20bowl,%20whisk%20together%20the%20flour,%20baking%20powder,%20baking%20soda,%20cinnamon,%20salt,%20nutmeg%20and%20ginger;%20set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20separate%20bowl,%20combine%20the%20eggs,%20bananas,%20sugar%20and%20oil.%20Make%20a%20well%20in%20the%20dry%20ingredients%20and%20add%20the%20wet%20ingredients%20all%20at%20once.%20Gently%20stir%20until%20just%20combined.%20(Do%20not%20over%20mix,%20the%20batter%20should%20still%20be%20lumpy.)%20Fold%20in%20the%20walnuts.%20Pour%20the%20batter%20into%20the%20prepared%20loaf%20pan%20and%20spread%20evenly.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20streusel%20topping:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20medium%20bowl,%20toss%20together%20the%20brown%20sugar%20and%20flour.%20Using%20your%20fingers,%20rub%20in%20the%20cold%20butter%20until%20the%20mixture%20resembles%20coarse%20crumbs.%20Toss%20in%20the%20walnuts.%20Sprinkle%20streusel%20mixture%20evenly%20over%20top%20the%20batter%20in%20the%20loaf%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%2055%20to%2060%20minutes,%20until%20a%20wooden%20toothpick%20comes%20out%20clean%20from%20the%20center.%20(Cover%20with%20foil%20during%20the%20last%2010-15%20minutes%20of%20baking%20to%20prevent%20over%20browning.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20from%20the%20oven%20and%20let%20cool%20in%20the%20pan%20on%20a%20wire%20rack%20for%2010%20minutes.%20Remove%20from%20the%20pan%20and%20cool%20completely%20on%20cooling%20rack.%20For%20best%20results,%20wrap%20tightly%20in%20plastic%20wrap%20and%20store%20overnight%20before%20slicing%20and%20serving.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESource:%20BHG%20Breakfast%20&%20Brunch,%2020133.0%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehttp://www.seededatthetable.com/2015/01/05/banana-bread-with-walnut-streusel-topping/%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECopyright%20Seeded%20at%20the%20Table%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
