- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup buter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 2 very ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 teaspoon maple flavored extract
- 1/3 cup milk
- Icing:
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon half and half

%20would%20argue%20over%20being%20my%20%22favorite%22%20but%20I%20didn't%20have%20it%20in%20me%20to%20have%20favorites....so%20they%20all%20were!%20%20ha!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo,%20when%20making%20these%20muffins%20I%20was%20feeling%20nostolgic%20and%20was%20wishing%20I%20could%20be%20taking%20them%20to%20Clarkson.%20%20Instead%20I%20kept%20them%20home%20so%20Grumpy%20could%20take%20them%20for%20breakfast%20throughout%20the%20week.%20%20My%20co-workers%20at%20my%20new%20job%20got%20the%20Valentine%20Cookie%20Cutouts!%20%20I%20will%20tell%20you%20that%20they%20were%20raved%20over%20and%20then%20the%20next%20day%20others%20in%20the%20office%20were%20being%20asked%20where%20were%20their%20baked%20goods.%20%20Hope%20I%20didn't%20start%20something!%20%20lol.%20%20Well,%20I%20did%20in%20a%20way.%20%20Grumpy%20started%20accusing%20me%20of%20bribery%20to%20make%20people%20like%20me%20again.%20%20ha%20ha.%20%20Well,%20Grumpy%20can%20say%20what%20he%20wants.%20%20I%20know%20the%20truth.%20%20;o)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20had%20a%20couple%20small%20bananas%20that%20I%20needed%20to%20use%20up.%20%20I%20had%20just%20a%20little%20bit%20of%20maple%20syrup%20left%20(I%20can't%20wait%20for%20syrup%20season%20so%20I%20can%20get%20my%20two%20gallons%20from%20my%20Aunt!)%20and%20decided%20I%20would%20make%20a%20Banana%20Walnut%20Muffin%20with%20a%20Maple%20Syrup%20Drizzle.%20%20These%20were%20nice%20and%20moist%20and%20so%20yummy%20with%20the%20maple%20and%20the%20walnut!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBanana%20Walnut%20Muffins%20with%20Maple%20Icing%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESift%20together%20flour,%20baking%20soda,%20salt,%20cinnamon,%20nutmeg%20and%20walnuts.%20%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWith%20electric%20mixer%20cream%20butter%20and%20sugar.%20%20Add%20eggs,%20one%20at%20a%20time,%20mixing%20until%20well%20blended.%20%20Add%20bananas,%20extract%20and%20milk%20and%20mix%20until%20well%20blended.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20dry%20ingredients%20to%20wet,%20folding%20until%20just%20mixed%20-%20don't%20over%20mix!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20in%2012%20cup%20muffin%20pan%20with%20cupcake%20wrappers%20or%20sprayed%20with%20cooking%20spray.%20%20Bake%20at%20350%20for%2025%20minutes%20or%20use%20the%20toothpick%20test%20and%20if%20the%20toothpick%20comes%20out%20of%20the%20muffin%20clean%20its%20ready!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20make%20the%20icing%20mix%20the%20powdered%20sugar,%20maple%20syrup%20and%20half%20and%20half%20together.%20%20Drizzle%20over%20top%20of%20the%20muffins%20after%20they%20have%20slightly%20cooled.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
