Receta Basic Homestyle Pot Roast

Ingredientes
- 3 lb boneless chuck roast
- 3 x potatoes halved
- 3 x carrots sliced lengthwise
- 2 sm onions halved
- 1 pkt onion soup mix - (1 3/8 ounce)
- 1/2 c. water Freshly-cracked black pepper
Direcciones
- Place potatoes, carrots and onions in bottom of the slow cooker. Add in roast, cutting in half or possibly thirds to fit size of cooker. Sprinkle pepper over roast as desired. Pour contents of soup mix over all. Add in water. Cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hrs.
- Remove the roast to a serving platter and place vegetables around it. The liquid may be used as a light gravy.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
