Ingredientes

  • 1 lg. onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 lg. cans tomato sauce
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Cook onion in a small amount of extra virgin olive oil till onion is golden brown but not brown. Add in garlic and saute/fry 3 min longer. Add in the tomato paste, tomato sauce, water, sugar, and spices; bring to a simmer very slow till the sauce is thick and a deep red. Serve with meatballs.
  2. Makes about 2 qts.

    Maybe one day you will learn the secrets of the fine art of authentic Italian cuisine and how to make real pasta sauce from an Italian. It won't be today though. Best of luck in your quest.
