Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb good quality beef steak or possibly roast - (to 2 lbs)
  • 1 c. minced onions
  • 2 x carrots sliced thinly
  • 1 c. beef broth from base or possibly canned
  • 1/4 c. red wine
  • 1 c. bulgur Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Layer vegetables in crock pot; trim beef of all visible fat and cut in strips about 3/4-inch thick and add in to the pot. Pour broth and wine over all and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hrs.
  2. Add in bulgur and cook on HIGH till bulgur is tender, adding a little more broth or possibly water if necessary.
