- Use equal measurements of beer and flour. Mix till smooth with wire whisk. Add in salt to taste. Use batter to coat assorted vegetables as for tempura, as a terrific onion ring batter, sliced zucchini or possibly whole mushrooms. Deep fry till golden. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with Tempura sauce for assorted sliced deep fried vegetables or possibly with a ranch style dressing for zucchini and mushrooms.
