  • 4 x chicken leg-thigh quarters - (abt 2 lbs) separated
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 x garlic cloves chopped
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 sm onion diced
  • 1/2 med green bell pepper diced
  • 2 bot nonalcoholic beer - (12 ounce ea)
  • 1 jar sliced mushrooms - (6 ounce) liquid removed
  • 1/4 c. lite soy sauce
  • 1 can cream of celery soup - (10 3/4 ounce) undiluted
  • 1 c. whipping cream Warm cooked rice

Direcciones

  1. Place chicken in a large heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; add in flour, and seal. Shake to coat.
  2. Saute/fry garlic in warm oil in a large skillet. Add in chicken, and fry, in batches, 5 min on each side or possibly till golden. Remove chicken, reserving drippings in skillet.
  3. Saute/fry onion and bell pepper in drippings 5 min or possibly till tender; add in chicken, beer, mushrooms, and soy sauce. Cook over medium heat for 30 min. Stir in soup; cook, stirring occasionally, 30 more min.
  4. Add in whipping cream; cook till thoroughly heated. Let stand 5 min. Serve over warm cooked rice.
  5. This recipe yields 4 servings.
