Receta Best Meringue
Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. cool water
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- Dash salt
- 3 egg whites
- 5 tbsp. sugar
Direcciones
- Combine water, cornstarch, sugar and salt. Cook till thickened in a saucepan. Cold. Beat egg whites till stiff. Add in sugar. While beating slowly add in cooked cornstarch mix. Spread over one pie. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 min. This meringue raises high and stays tender for several days. Worth the extra work.
