Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb lean grnd beef
  • 1 med onion minced
  • 2 lb potatoes
  • 1 lb carrots
  • 3 x beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 can corn
  • 2 can green beans (or possibly lima or possibly other beans) Garlic pwdr to taste Salt to taste Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Use the leanest beef possible and drain the grease well.
  2. Peel potatoes and carrots and cut into desired-sized pcs.
  3. In large Dutch oven, brown grnd beef with the onion. Add in the potatoes, carrots and bouillon cubes and cover with water. Bring to a boil and then turn down to low and cook till potatoes and carrots are tender.
  4. Add in the corn and beans (including the liquid). Heat to a simmer. Serve right away or possibly allow to simmer longer if you wish. Season at the last minute.
  5. This recipe yields a very big pot of soup. Try freezing in individual portions.
