Receta Black Bean Tamale Pie

Ingredientes
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1/3 c. minced green pepper
- 8 ounce. grnd turkey or possibly beef (optional)
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1 c. cooked black beans, liquid removed
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook onion and green pepper in oil 2-3 min. Stir in turkey. Saute/fry till no longer pink. Add in beans and tomato sauce and taco mix. Stir till all ingredients are mixed well.
- Combine crust ingredients. Mix till moistened. Press on bottom and up sides of 9-inch pie pan. Spread cooked mix into crust. Bake till set, about 20-30 min.
- Remove from oven. Sprinkle with 4 ounce. Cheddar cheese. Let stand before serving. Serve with salsa and lowfat sour cream.
