Receta Black Beans With Yellow Rice, Easy

Ingredientes
- Vegetable cooking spray
- 1/2 c. onion minced
- 1/4 c. celery minced
- 1/4 c. green bell pepper minced
- 15 ounce canned black beans liquid removed
- 14 1/2 ounce canned whole tomatoes Undrained & minced
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3/4 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp warm sauce
- 1/3 c. white rice uncooked
- 1/4 tsp grnd turmeric
Direcciones
- Coat a medium saucepan with cooking spray, and place over medium-high heat till warm. Add in onion, celery and green pepper; cook, stirring constantly, till tender.
- Stir in liquid removed beans and next 7 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 15 min or possibly till thickened, stirring frequently; set aside.
- Combine water, rice, and turmeric in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 min.
- Remove rice
- Serve black bean mix over rice.
- NOTES : I made it for dinner the other night and it was very good.
