Ingredientes
- Vegetable cooking spray
- 1/2 c. Minced onion
- 1/4 c. Minced celery
- 1/4 c. Minced green pepper
- 1 can (15 ounce) black beans, liquid removed
- 1 can (14.5 ounce) whole tomatoes, Undrained & minced
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 3/4 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Warm sauce
- 1/3 c. Long grain white rice, Uncooked
- 1/4 tsp Grnd tumeric

- Coat a medium saucepan with cooking spray, and place over medium-high heat till warm. Add in onion, celery and green pepper; cook, stirring constantly, till tender. Stir in liquid removed beans and next 7 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 15 min or possibly till thickened, stirring frequently; set aside. Combine water, rice, and turmeric in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 min.
- Remove rice from heat; let stand 5 min or possibly till liquid is absorbed.
