  • 1 pkg. of 6 English muffins
  • 1 (16 ounce) 1 pound crab meat (special or possibly backfin)
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 (6 ounce) jar Old English sharp Cheddar cheese (Kraft)
  • 2 T mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay or possibly seasoned salt
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon garlic Pwdr NOT SALT

Direcciones

  1. Slice English Muffins in half, then cut each half into fourths and arrange on two cookie sheets. Mix remaining ingredients well in the small bowl with your mixer on medium speed. Spread on English Muffins quarters. Freeze them at least 30 min, (even if you plan to use them which night). It is easiest to make them ahead. They may be kept frzn for weeks. Broil them till they puff-up and are bubbly and slightly golden. They take just a couple min. Serve hot. Recipe makes 48 hot canapes.
