Receta Broiled Steak With Mushroom Wine Sauce

Ingredientes
- 2 T butter
- 1/4 pound mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 2 T finely minced onions
- 2 teaspoon flour
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 2 T tomato paste
- 1/2 c. dry red wine
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 pound boneless sirloin steak
Direcciones
- In small saucepan, heat butter over medium heat. Add in mushrooms, onion, and garlic; saute till onion is transparent, stirring frequently. Remove from heat.Stir in flour, salt, pepper and tomato paste. Blend in wine and water. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cover, reduce heat and simmer about 20 min. Meanwhile, broil steak to desired doneness. Serve with wine sauce. Makes 6 servings.
