  • 500 g butter at room temperature, cut into smaller pieces
  • 500 g fresh quark at room temperature
  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 yolk, beaten
  • 4 tbs sprinkles of your choice (coarse sea salt, caraway or sesame seeds, grated cheese)

Direcciones

Knead by hand or with a mixer butter, quark, flour and salt into the dough. Shape it into a ball, flatten slightly and wrap in foil. Leave in a cool place for 2-3 hours or overnight.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to the thickness of a finger (not thinner). Cut circles using a floured 4 cm diameter round cutter with. Roll out the remaining dough again (not more than once) and cut it into rounds again. Place the pastry 2-3 cm apart on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Brush the rounds with egg yolk, scatter with sprinkles of your choice. Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 10 - 15 minutes until savories are golden in color.
