  • 4 x bacon slices minced
  • 1/2 lrg onion minced
  • 3 1/2 c. minced cabbage
  • 1 c. half and half
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. grated Gruy&egrave,re cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp caraway seeds Pepper
  • 1 x 9 inch frzn deep-dish pie crust baked according to packagedirections

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Cook bacon in heavy large skillet over medium heat 5 min. Add in onion and saute/fry till tender, about 5 min. Add in cabbage and cook till all liquid evaporates and cabbage is golden, stirring frequently, about 16 min.
  2. Combine half and half, Large eggs, cheese, salt and caraway; season generously with pepper. Stir in cabbage mix. Pour into crust. Bake till filling puffs and starts to brown, about 40 min. Serve hot or possibly at room temperature.
  3. Serves 4.
