Receta Cabbage Soup With Paprika, Kielbasa And Raisins

Ingredientes
- 6 slc Bacon,, diced
- 1 x Onion,, halved and thinly sliced
- 4 x Garlic cloves,, chopped
- 3 lb Cabbage, cored, cut into, 1-inch-wide strips
- 1/2 tsp Sweet paprika
- 8 c. Chicken or possibly pork stock
- 1 x 28-oz can whole, peeled tomatoes
- 1 c. Raisins
- 1 1/2 lb Kielbasa, cut in, 1/3-inch slices Minced parsley, for garnish

- In a heavy-bottomed soup pot heat bacon over medium heat. Saute/fry 5 min, or possibly till most of fat is rendered. Add in onions and garlic; sautJ 5 min till onion is tender. Add in cabbage and paprika, stirring to mix well, and sautJ 5 min. Add in stock and bring to a boil, stirring. Using your hand, squeeze most of juice from tomatoes, cut into coarse chunks and add in to pot.
- When mix comes to a boil, lower heat to simmering and cook 15 min.
- Add in raisins and cook 10 min more. Add in kielbasa and simmer just till sausage slices are hot, about 3 min. Divide soup among 4 soup bowls and sprinkle with parsley.
