  • 1 lb Fresh butter beans
  • 1/2 lb Salt meat, parboiled and diced
  • 1 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
  • 3 Tbsp. Oil
  • 1 lrg Onion, minced
  • 2 x Cloves garlic, minced fine
  • 2 tsp Sugar Salt and pepper to taste Water

Direcciones

  1. Make a roux with oil and flour. Add in meat and onions; Saute/fry till onions and meat are lightly browned. Add in butter beans, garlic and sugar; cook for 15 min, stirring. Lower heat; add in water to beans. Cover and cook for 1 hour, approximately.
