Receta Cardamom Crumb Cake
Serves 12.
Need 3 large. Or 5 small oranges to get 3 Tbs. of ,grated zest needed.
Tip: crumbs canbe made up to 3 days ahead, refrigerated, covered.
Cake is best served the day made. Wrap air tight and freeze up to 2 mo. when defrosted, warm in a 350 dg. Oven.

Ingredientes
- CRUMBS:
- 1/2 each all our flour & coarsley ch. walnuts
- 1/3 c. Sugar
- 1 Tab. Finely grated orange zest
- 1/2 tsp. ea instant espresso pow. & gr. cardamom
- 1/2 stick butter, cut In 8 pieces , softened
- CAKE:
- 2 c. All pur. Flour
- 2 tsp. baking pow
- 1 1/4 tsp. gr. cardamom
- 1 tsp instant expression pow.
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2/3 c. Sugar
- 2 Tab. Finely grated orange zest
- 1 stick butter, melted & cooled.
- 2 lg. eggs
- 1/2 c. Each whole milk and cool strong coffee
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 400 deg.. Butter 8 " square bak. Pan; dust with flour; tap out excess.
- CRUMBS: Mix ingred. EXCEPT BUTTER, in a bowl. Add butter and, with fingers, mix until course. Rumbas form.
- CAKE: Whisk flour, bak. Pow. Cardamom, expresso pow, and salt in a lg. bowl to blend. Transfer to a sheet of wax paper. Put sugar and zest in the bowl and rub tog.with fingers until sugar
