Receta Chicken Fricassee With Dumplings

Ingredientes
- 6-8 chicken pcs
- 2 tbsp. oil
- Salt, pepper
- 1 c. sliced carrots
- 1/2 c. sliced celery
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 tbsp. flour
Direcciones
- In large skillet, brown chicken lightly in oil then drain fat; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add in vegetables, broth, 1/4 tsp. salt; cover and simmer 15 min. Blend flour and lowfat milk and stir into skillet mix till slightly thickened.
- Spoon dumplings over top. Continue to simmer 10 min uncovered, then for 10 min covered.
- Dumplings: Sift together one c. sifted all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. baking pwdr, and 1/2 tsp. salt into mixing bowl. In measuring c. add in 3 Tbsp. oil to 1/2 c. lowfat milk; stir all at once into flour mix till well but lightly blended.
- NOTE: Dumpling recipe on Bisquick box is also ideal for this.
