Receta Chicken Fried Liver

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 lbs. skinned and deveined beef liver
- 3 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd pepper
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 2 tbsp. grated onion
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. fine cracker crumbs
- 1 c. shortening or possibly oil
Direcciones
- Cut liver into 1 x 1 1/2 inch strips and sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine flour, salt, and pepper. Combine lowfat milk, onion, egg, and garlic. Dip strips in flour mix, then into egg mix and finally into crumbs. Fry quickly in warm pan or possibly 375 to 400 degrees in electric fry pan or possibly wok. Drain. Serve with mustard, ketchup or possibly sweet 'n sour sauce for dipping. Serves 6.
- NOTE: Guaranteed to get the "kids" to eat liver!! Just do not try serving spinach at the same meal. See "Kids Will Eat Spinach."
