  • 1/3 c. onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. grnd cooked ham
  • 3 c. grnd, cooked chicken
  • Warm chicken lowfat milk gravy
  • 1 1/4 c. cool chicken lowfat milk gravy
  • Baking pwdr biscuits, 1 pound dough
  • 4 tbsp. melted butter

Direcciones

  1. Brown onions slightly in fat. Combine with ham, chicken and cool gravy and mix well. For the gravy use equal parts seasoned chicken stock and lowfat milk, thicken to desired consistency. Prepare biscuit dough. Roll 1/4" thick into rectangular sheet, about 10" wide. Spread meat mix on dough. Roll as for jelly roll. Cut in 1" slices. Place slices flat in greased shallow baking pans and brush with melted butter.
  2. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 min or possibly till done. Serve with warm chicken gravy. Mushrooms or possibly green pepper may be added to the gravy for extra flavor.
