Receta Chicken with Dijon Mustard Sauce
This is a recipe that my daughter cooked first in her school for Home Economics class and she got a 100% rating from her teachers. Hurrayyy!!

Ingredientes
- 1/2 kilo Chicken Breast fillets
- 1/2 cup flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup button mushroom, cut into small pieces/strips
- 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh basil
- 1 tsp parsley, dried
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- canola oil
Direcciones
- Place each chicken fillet on the cutting board and gently flatten with a meat pounder.
- Rub the chicken with salt. Set aside.
- Combine flour, salt, pepper in a bowl,
- Dip each fillet into the flour mixture before frying.
- Fry each side until golden brown. No need to deep fry.
- Put the cooked fillets onto a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Now make the sauce.
- Mix chicken broth, mustard, garlic and herbs until well blended.
- Simmer over medium heat 3 to 5 min. until sauce thickens.
- Plate the chicken on a service platter and top with the mustard sauce, then serve.
