Receta Chili With Kidney Beans

Ingredientes
- 3 x Garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Oil
- 4 lb Lean grnd beef
- 6 x Onions, minced
- 4 x Green bell peppers, minced
- 6 can Whole tomatoes (1-lb size)
- 4 can Red kidney beans (1-lb size) liquid removed
- 2 can Tomato paste (6 ounce size)
- 1/4 c. Chili pwdr
- 1 tsp White vinegar
- 3 dsh Red pepper
- 3 whl cloves
- 1 x Bay leaf Salt, pepper Rice (optional)
Direcciones
- Saute/fry garlic in oil in large heavy kettle till golden brown. Crumble in beef and cook 10 min, or possibly till proportionately browned. Pour some of oil and drippings into skillet. Add in onions and green peppers and cook till tender. Add in to cooked meat with tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato paste, chili pwdr, vinegar, red pepper, cloves and bay leaf, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Cook, covered, over low heat 1 hour. If too dry, add in additional tomatoes. If too liquid, uncover and simmer longer. Serve with rice, if you like.
