Receta Chunky Chocolate Cookie Squares

Ingredientes
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c. Karo light or possibly dark corn syrup
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. minced pecans
- 2 packages. (4 ounce each) Baker's German's sweet chocolate, cut into lg. chunks
Direcciones
- Mix flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl of electric mixer at medium speed, till light and fluffy. Slowly beat in corn syrup, then egg and vanilla. Beat in flour mix till blended. Stir in pecans and half the chocolate.Spread evenly in ungreased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Sprinkle remaining chocolate on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min or possibly till golden brown. Cool on rack. Cut into 2 1/2 inch squares.
