Receta Cinnamon Raisin Babka

Ingredientes
- 6 x -(up to)
- 8 c. All purpose flour, sifted
- 1 1/2 x -(up to)
- 2 x Cakes compressed yeast
- 1 1/2 c. Water, 85 degrees
- 1/2 lb Raisins
- 1/2 lb Blanched minced almonds (optional)
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 1 1/2 c. Butter
- 3 x Large eggs
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
Direcciones
- Crumble yeast in water. Add in 1 c. flour and let rise until doubled.
- Sprinkle 1/2 c. flour over raisings and almonds. Cream sugar and butter and add in Large eggs, salt, and cinnamon. Add in fruit and nuts, yeast and remaining flour to creamed mix. Put in greased bowl in hot place, cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled in bulk. Divide into 2 loaves and place in greased pans. Brush tops with melted butter. Let rise again. Bake at 350 F. for 45 minutes.
