- 4 apples, (any variety will do)
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- 1 cup of dark brown sugar
- handful of golden raisins
- 1/2 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts
- a squeeze of fresh lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons of melted butter
- 1/4 cup orange juice for the roasting pan
