Receta Cinnamon Spice Apple Rings

Ingredientes
- 2 x cooking apples
- 1 c. cranberry juice or possibly water
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon red hots
Direcciones
- Cut apples into rings and core. Dip into cool salted water to prevent darkening.
- In a medium saucepan, bring cranberry juice or possibly water and sugar to a boil. Add in cinnamon red hots and stir till dissolved. Drop apple slices into syrup. Cover and simmer 5 min.
- Turn slices and continue cooking till tender. Serve warm or possibly cool
- This recipe yields 3 servings.
- Variations:o Or possibly bake apples in syrup in a microwave for 2 min.
- o Or possibly bake apples in syrup in a covered dish in a 375 oven for 20 to 30 min.
