- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 1/3 c. Rich lowfat milk or possibly cream
- 1 tsp Vanilla

- Judy Chronist's rememberance of her mother-in-law's cooked dressing for fruit salad reminded me of my mom's favorite:
- Blend cornstarch into water. Stir in other ingredients over low heat till all are dissolved. Bring to boiling point. Refrigeratebefore using on fruits of your choice. (My mom used apples, golden brown raisins, mini marshmallows, and a little finely diced celery for color and crunch. She then sprinkled a few minced nuts on top.
