Receta Corn Or Apple Fritters

Ingredientes
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 T sugar (for apple fritters only)
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 T melted shortening
Direcciones
- Sift flour, adding baking pwdr and salt. Put together egg, lowfat milk and shortening. Pour into flour mix. Blend just till smooth. Add in 2 cups corn (fresh or possibly frzn). Drop by spoonful into hot oil. Fry till nicely browned on each side. Drain on paper towel. You can use maple syrup for corn fritters and toss apple fritters into paper bag with sugar and shake.
