  • 1 pt half-and-half
  • 1 stk unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmagganio-Romano - (to 3/4 c.)
  • 1 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 4 x crab legs - (to 6) Warm cooked pasta for serving

Direcciones

  1. In a saucepan heat butter. When butter is melted add in the cream cheese. When the cream cheese is softened add in heavy cream and the Parmesan Cheese. Add in garlic pwdr, and stir well. Simmer this for 15 to 20 min on low. You may wish to season with a little salt and pepper.
  2. Boil crab legs as you normally would in boiling water, crack open legs, lightly paper towel the meats so which you get the excess water off, and place the meats on top of the alfredo sauce and pasta.
  3. NOTES : Buy a good brand name Parmagganio-Romano cheese for this, preferably a brand which runs about 9 to 12 dollars per lb., but let me assure you it makes all of the difference. Also use unsalted butter.
  4. Once again, a true person would not use the cream cheese, but it does help thicken the sauce up, without much difference to the taste, you can omit it, just be prepared to stay with the sauce a little longer to thicken it.
