Receta Crab Doughnuts With Sweet And Fragrant Dipping Sauce

Ingredientes
- 2 tsp Dry yeast
- 6 ounce Strong flour
- 250 ml Hot lowfat milk
- 6 ounce White crab meat
- 1 x Egg, lightly beaten
- 60 gm Butter, melted Black pepper Oil for deep frying
- 2 Tbsp. Peanut oil
- 2 med Onions, finely minced
- 1 tsp Garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp Fresh ginger, finely grated
- 1 1/2 tsp Chilli sauce
- 1 tsp Lemon rind, grated
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Clear honey
- 2 Tbsp. Dark soy sauce
- 4 Tbsp. Dry sherry
Direcciones
- Combine yeast, lowfat milk, sugar, egg and butter in a large bowl, mix well.
- Add in the sifted flour and beat till smooth. Stand covered in a hot place for around 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till the batter doubles in size and bubbles.
- Now add in the crab meat and black pepper and mix well. Deep fry a little batter in warm oil. Drain on paper.
- Dipping sauce:Heat the oil in a pan, add in onions and fry. Add in garlic and ginger and stir over a medium heat. Add in the dry sherry, lemon rind, lemon juice, honey, soy sauce and simmer for 2 min.Serve with the crab doughnuts.
