Receta Crabs in Coconut Milk
Ingredientes
- 2 kilos. Crabs (cleaned well)
- 3 cups water with 1 tablespoon salt (for steaming)
- 6 cups coconut milk in can canned (freshly squeezed is best)
- 4 cloves garlic (diced)
- 1 large onion (diced)
- 10 pcs string beans
- 1 teaspoon iodized salt
- 3pcs chili (labuyo) optional
Direcciones
- In a large wok pour water with salt and line crabs.
- Cover and steam for 5 minutes or until the shells turn orange.
- In another pot heat coconut milk over medium heat stirring constantly until it boils.
- Add in garlic, onions, salt and chili.
- Keep stirring while simmering the mixture for 2 more minutes.
- Add in cooked crabs and let the milk simmer until thick.
- Add in string beans and squash.
- Let the mixture boil for a minute more or just about when the vegetables are tender
- Remove from heat and serve.
- This is best with steamed rice.
