Ingredientes
- 5 c. cranberries
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 c. vodka
Direcciones
- Combine 5 c. cranberries, water and sugar in a heavy large saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, stirring frequently to dissolve sugar. Cold completely.
- Fold in vodka. Cover cranberry mix and let stand 2 days at room temperature.
- Strain cranberry mix through a sieve into a clean container. Cover and chill.
- Fill glasses with crushed ice, pour cranberry vodka over and serve.
- NOTES : Here is a recipe for our favorite holiday beverages, Cranberry-Marinated Vodka and Cranberry Margaritas. I*love* the brilliant red color of these drinks.
- A batch of this vodka makes a nice holiday gift- in the past we have bottled it into clear glass bottles with attached stoppers, that I bought at Williams-Sonoma, We have also served this in small glasses over ice with appetizers on Thanksgiving.
