  • 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 lrg garlic clove minced fine
  • 1/4 c. finely minced red onion
  • 32 ounce soft tofu
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. tamari or possibly light soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp dry sweet basil
  • 2 c. warm cooked pasta
  • 1/4 c. minced fresh parsley

Direcciones

  1. Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a small pan. Add in garlic and onion and saute/fry over medium-low heat till the onion is translucent/soft.
  2. In food processor, blend the tofu till it reaches a uniform consistency. Pour the blended tofu into saute/fry pan with the garlic and onion, and cook for 5 min over medium heat.
  3. Add in water, tamari, and basil to the pan and cook for 5 min more.
  4. Pour the tofu sauce over cooked pasta. Toss well and sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately.
