  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water; set aside. In large mixing bowl, combine 2-3/4 c. flour and the salt; stir yeast mix and oil into the flour till a dough forms. On a lightly floured work surface, knead the dough about 10 min, working in remaining flour till dough is sticky. Place in an oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise till double in size, about 40 min.
  2. Makes one 16 inch crust.
