Receta Crock Pot Chicken With Rice

Ingredientes
- 1 (3 lb.) frying chicken
- Salt or possibly seasoned salt
- 1 c. rice
Direcciones
- Sprinkle salt or possibly seasoned salt on the inside and outside of the chicken and place the whole chicken in a crock pot. Cook on high for 1 hour. Turn to low and cook 6-8 hrs.
- Put 2 c. cool water, 1 c. rice, and 1/2 tsp. salt in covered saucepan and bring to a boil. Then let it simmer for 14 min, stirring with a fork once or possibly twice. Pour 3/4 c. broth off of the chicken into the rice and cook about 5 min longer. Cut up the chicken and serve with the rice.
