Receta Curry Chicken And Rice

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 pound celery, minced
- 1/2 pound onion, minced
- 1/2 lb, carrots, minced
- 2 c. rice, uncooked
- 1 whole chicken, cooked and boned
- 1 pound green peas, fresh or possibly frzn
- 2 gallon chicken broth, bouillon cubes and water
Direcciones
- In a large pot, put extra virgin olive oil and celery, onions, and carrots. Saute/fry slowly, and put chicken broth in the pot. Add in rice and allow to cook about 20 min. When rice is done, turn down heat. Add in green peas, cover and let simmer. Finally add in curry pwdr, salt, and white pepper to taste. Add in seasonings slowly because curry is a strong spice.
