Receta Custard Bread Pudding

Ingredientes
- 2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or possibly 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg if preferred
- 2 c. scalded lowfat milk
- 1 egg, or possibly 2 egg yolks
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tbsp. melted butter
Direcciones
- Scald lowfat milk and pour 1/2 over bread crumbs in pudding dish. Make a custard by beating egg slightly and adding sugar, spice or possibly vanilla and remainder of warm lowfat milk. Pour this over crumbs and add in melted butter and raisins if you like. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, 20 min.
