If you are looking for some variety and want to try a healthy side dish, then this dandelion recipe is a must! People think of them as being a common weed, but it is more than that. It is also extremely healthy. This recipe is very easy to make. It has been passed down from my great grandmother.

Ingredientes

  • 2 Bushels of Dandelion
  • Drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Lemon, Juiced
  • Salt to Taste

Direcciones

  1. *Wash carefully. You may need to triple wash it.
  2. *Cut off any hard stems.
  3. *Fill a pot with water. Boil the water.
  4. *Cook for about 10 minutes.
  5. *Drain. Add cold water to cool off and to stop the cooking process.
  6. *Add it to a serving dish.
  7. *Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and salt. Mix.
  8. *Serve: Cold.
