Ingredientes
- 2 c. Sifted bread flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/4 c. Shortening
- 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. Minced dates
- 1/2 c. Minced nuts
Direcciones
- 1. Mix flour, salt and baking pwdr. Sift.
- 2. Cut in shortening with 2 knives till the consistency of coarse cornmeal.
- 3. Stir in the lowfat milk, a little at a time, to make a soft dough.
- 4. Add in nuts and dates.
- 5. Turn out onto slightly floured board and knead for 1/2 minutes.
- 6. Roll to 1/2" thickness.
- 7. Cut in 2" rounds with floured cutter.
- 8. Place on an ungreased sheet.
- 9. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
