Ingredientes
- 1 c. dates
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 c. gumdrops, cut
- 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Direcciones
- Cook water and dates; add in soda. Cook slightly and cold. Cream together butter and sugar; add in egg. Sift together flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add in alternately with date mix. Then add in gumdrops and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min to 1 hour. Makes 2 small or possibly 1 large loaf.
