%20%20I%20have%20a%20tube%20of%20wasabi%20paste%20and%20everything%20to%20try%20to%20make%20them.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut,%20I%20also%20have%20a%20plethora%20of%20peppers%20so%20I%20decided%20to%20try%20something%20new%20and%20different%E2%80%94jalapeno%20deviled%20eggs.%20%20%20%20I%20had%20no%20idea%20if%20this%20would%20work%20or%20not,%20be%20palatable,%20or%20go%20down%20the%20garbage%20disposal%20immediately.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20wasabi%20paste%20will%20have%20to%20wait%20as%20I%20forge%20on%20with%20Pepper-palooza%20and%20my%20new%20creation:%20%20%20Diablo%20Deviled%20Eggs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDiablo%20Deviled%20Eggs%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Emore%20jalapenos%20to%20garnish%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20yolks,%20mayo,%20mustard,%20dry%20mustard,%20jalapeno,%20salt%20and%20pepper%20to%20food%20processor%20and%20process%20until%20smooth.%20%20%20Taste%20to%20check%20seasoning.%20%20%20Adjust.%20%20%20Transfer%20filling%20to%20pastry%20bag%20and%20pipe%20into%20eggs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20take%20the%20heat%20up%20another%20notch,%20sprinkle%20with%20a%20little%20hot%20paprika%20or%20even%20cayenne%20or%20even%20better%E2%80%94add%20a%20drizzle%20of%20Sriracha.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDouble%20Diablo%20Deviled%20Eggs%20with%20Sriracha%20dots!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20used%20mild%20jalapenos%20so%20these%20are%20not%20too%20spicy%20but%20they%20still%20have%20a%20kick.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20sure%20these%20could%20be%20made%20with%20pickled%20jalapenos%20this%20winter.%20%20%20I%20think%20I%20would%20use%20four%20to%20five%20slices%20if%20using%20pickled%20peppers.%20%20%20I%20might%20even%20add%20a%20bit%20of%20pickle%20juice%20to%20kick%20it%20up.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHope%20you%20enjoyed%20this%20installment%20of%20Pepper-palooza.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStay%20tuned.%20%20(And,%20these%20were%20delicious.%20%20%20We%20polished%20them%20off%20in%20no%20time.)%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
