- 1 quart vanilla ice cream
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract

- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed for 1 to 1 1/2 min, or possibly till the mix is smooth and thick. Serve immediately.
- This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
- Comments: As they say at the diner, "throw in the mud" to get a Black Cow by adding 3/4 c. chocolate flavor syrup in place of the vanilla extract. And if you'd like a little thinner shake, add in some additional lowfat milk.
