  1. Place rice in pot or pan and add chicken stock.
  2. Bring to a boil then cover and simmer for 20 minutes. do not over cook.
  3. In tilt grill, saute garlic, onions, bell peppers, and scallions in vegetable oil until soft (about 5 minutes).
  4. Add sausage and ground beef and season with salt, pepper, thyme, bay leaves, and cayenne pepper. May need to remove some fat with a ladle.
  5. Add cooked rice and adjust seasonings as needed.
