Receta Dr. Pepper Cake

Ingredientes
- 1 c. Margarine
- 1 c. Dr. Pepper
- 4 Tbsp. Cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 c. Flour, sifted
- 2 c. Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 x Large eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 c. Buttermilk
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 c. Dr. Pepper
- 1/4 c. Margarine
- 3 Tbsp. Cocoa
- 3 c. Powdered sugar, sifted
- 1/2 c. Pecans, minced
- 1 tsp Vanilla

- I recently found this recipe and thought it was truly unique. Just a little background: Dr. Pepper was created in Waco, Texas, and since then, scores of Baylor students have been force-fed the stuff. Anyhow, hope ya like it!!! -Debbie Collin
- Heat Dr. Pepper with margarine, but don't boil. Set aside. Sift together flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt, and cocoa. Beat together Large eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, and baking soda. Add in warm Dr. Pepper mix to dry ingredients.
- Stir in egg mix, and blend well. Pour into greased and floured 15x10-inch sheet cake pan. Bake at 350 deg. for 25 min.
- For frosting: About 5 min before cake is done, heat Dr. Pepper, margarine, and cocoa. Stir in powdered sugar, pecans, and vanilla. Spread frosting on while cake is still warm.
