Receta Dutch Apple Pie

Ingredientes
- 1 x graham cracker pie crust
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp grnd nutmeg
- 5 1/2 c. peeled sliced cooking apple
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. butter room temperature
- 1 lrg egg yolk slightly beat
- 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. light brown sugar packed
- 1/4 c. light brown sugar packed
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
Direcciones
- Preheat oven at 375 degrees. Brush bottom and sides of crust proportionately with egg yolk; bake on baking on baking sheet till light brown, about 5 min. Remove crust from oven. Combine sliced apples, lemon juice, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. brown sugar, 3 Tbsp. flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well and spoon into crust. Mix remaining flour, sugar, brown sugar and butter with fork till crumbly. Sprinkle topping mix proportionately over apples. Bake on baking sheet till topping is golden brown and filling is bubbling; about 50 min.Cold thoroughly on wire rack, at least 4 hrs. Serve at room temperature.
